Nafion Dryer Purge Gas Method #2 – Atmospheric Air & Vacuum
5 views 0
Use where no external purge gas is available or desirable
Vacuum Level and Flow Rate – Must be optimized for each vacuum pump / dryer configuration.
Air must be filtered clean – Dirt and oils can deposit on the outside of the tubes and lower performance.
Disadvantage – The drying performance will be dependent upon the moisture level of the atmospheric air. The effect of the ambient moisture level is less as the vacuum level increases.
