The MD-Dryer and MRD dryers are available in a wide variety of lengths, from 12″ (30 cm) to 288″ (720 cm). Our coiling guidelines are as follows:
Standard Configuration
Our standard is to supply the dryers in the straight configuration from 12″ (30 cm) to 24″ (60 cm). With lengths that are 48″ (120 cm) or longer, the dryers are supplied in a coiled configuration, with a coil diameter of roughly 7″ (18 cm). Dryers in stainless steel “S” are permanently coiled, as they cannot easily be recoiled as the stainless shell is bent into shape. The “P” Polypropylene and “F” Fluorocarbon versions are flexible and can be recoiled into other dimensions. We recommend a coil diameter no less than 5″ for the “P” version and 2.5″ for the “F” version.
Custom Coiling Services
We have developed custom coiled configurations for a number of OEM customers that have space constraints in their equipment, or want to optimize the way the connections are aligned.
