Potential Humidifier Performance Decline
The humidifier performance will decline over time if the Nafion tubing is subject to impurities; these come from when the de ionized water strips metal ions from any metal tubing or connections that are in contact with the circulated water. If the humidifiers are used in the gas to gas operation, any performance decline would come from similar impurities in the water vapor.
