Do Nafion Dryers or Humidifiers Have an Expiration Date or a Shelf Life? Do they expire? – Nafion products do not have an expiration date, as the water transfer properties are a fundamental property of the material itself. The moisture transfer properties of Nafion do not change over time. We have seen dryers over 20 years old perform as new. However, we have noticed that there is a slight brown discoloration that occurs over time that does not affect the material, which was verified with our lab tests. To minimize this, the tubing should be kept in a black bag where it will not be exposed to light or UV.

A Master Order is a large order with a negotiated price and length term. Standard life time of a master is 12 months but can be longer based on negotiated terms. These orders can be taken from whenever customer wants and does not have a promised delivery time. Standard lead times still apply to these orders. These orders can be renewed with proper approval.

What Is A Blanket Order?

A blanket order is a scheduled order with multiple releases. Blankets are made in advance and booked with dates indicated.

Can I purchase just the element rather than replace the entire dryer?

Replacement Nafion elements are available only for MD and PD dryers. With the PD elements, we recommend our PD replacement tool.

You cannot replace elements for our humidifiers (FC or MH). Check out our Cleaning and Troubleshooting page for more information.
